I've been watching as one of my close friends has made her new apartment in Chicago into a home. Each time I visit, there's a new piece of furniture or plant. I get the joy of seeing her personality fill her new space. I get to see her create the life she wants. I see that and I want that. It keeps me hopeful for when I have my own home. It makes me excited to live in Chicago and start that phase of my life.
One of my friends in Springfield visits a wholesale market every year in Atlanta for her boutique. She texted me, "I want to have a market like this someday." I replied, "I can't wait to see all the things we're going to create in this next decade."
